    Going to College: Where to Go, How to Get In, Who’s Going to Pay?

    Ms. Ann Crane will share information pertaining to how to find the right college, details regarding the application process.  Ms. Crane brings a wide range of experience that supports students striving to attend colleges across the spectrum (Junior College to Ivy League) as well as across the country.

     

    Scholarship Hunting Process

    Ms. Christina Spears will discuss her personal experience of going through the scholarship hunting process (writing about 100 scholarships and receiving a full ride to her college).  Topics include a system to keep it all together, the process of how to search, tips for the writing portion, and providing motivation and a belief in tackling this mountain. 

     

    Student Panel

    KHS Senior students will share their experiences regarding the college search process.  All students are encouraged to attend this session.

     

    Parent-To-Parent Q&A

    Parents will have an opportunity to ask questions of “experienced” parents who have been through the process of the college application, acceptance, and graduation.

     

    NCAA Eligibility Center

    Coach Bob Barrett will present relevant information for high school athletes with plans on participating in athletics in college.
