    Welcome to the AHS eagle family! Your summer reading novel is A Long Way Gone by Ishmael Beah. 

    English I Pre-AP summer reading assignment! The summer reading homework is due on the first day of school (Monday, August 12th).

    Make sure that you complete ONE category A activity, ONE category B activity, and TWO category C activities. You can find additional resources by clicking on the "English I Pre-AP Assignments and Notes" tab to the left.

    Welcome to AP! Your summer reading selection is chapters 1-18 of Thank You for Arguing Third Edition by Jay Heinrichs (ISBN #: 978-0804189934). Please make sure that you get the third edition (Publication Date: 2017); this book has been specifically revised with the AP Lang student in mind.

     AP English III summer reading assignments!

    The assignments are due Friday, August 16th! Please bring your work with you the first week of class as we will spend some time looking at the columnist activities before you submit them for a grade.
