Attendance Office is located to the right of the front entrance, room 1003.

To report an absence, you may submit an Absence Excuse Form, call, or send a written note with the student. Please remember that district policy says you have 48 hours from the time the student returns to excuse a student's absence.

***SCHOOL BEGINS AT 7:15 AM, 8:23 AM FOR LATE ARRIVAL STUDENTS***

Students arriving to school at 7:30 am, or later, MUST sign in at the attendance office. If your student does not have a first period class and he/she arrives at 8:30 am or later, they MUST sign in at the attendance office. Students arriving past these times will be counted absent for that first period class, second period if late arrival, and MUST provide a note to excuse the absence. SCHOOL BEGINS AT 7:20 AM, 8:23 AM FOR LATE ARRIVAL STUDENTS.

If you are needing your student will be leaving campus, please be sure to come by our office to do sign them out. If your student drives to and from school, you may send an email to the email addresses listed below, requesting your student be allowed to sign out. Please make sure you are using the email account that we have on file for you and that you clearly state the name of your student, the time they are to be allowed to leave and the reason.

***THERE MUST BE A RECORD OF THE STUDENT SIGNING IN/OUT FOR STUDENTS WHO TURN IN NOTES TO EXCUSE PARTIAL DAY ABSENCES***

Teachers/Substitutes are responsible for entering/submitting attendance for their students. If there is a question regarding an absence, please contact that class period teacher first. Attendance Personnel CANNOT make changes to attendance records without documentation as to why the change is being made and this must be provided by the teacher/sub who made the initial entry. Students are expected to follow their schedule every day, every class period and be on time so as to avoid mistakes/misunderstadings by teachers and/or substitutes. If a student sees an AP or a counselor, they MUST sign in on the Office Visit Log for that individual.

PLEASE REPORT ABSENCES TO ATTENDANE PERSONNEL SO THAT THE STUDENT'S ATTENDANCE IS CODED ACCORDINGLY. EXCUSE NOTES CAN ONLY BE ENTERED BY ATTENDANCE OFFICE CLERKS.
