How can I start creating content and planning before our courses are set up?
In Schoology, go to the resources tab. Create a new "resource", which should be a folder for each class. You can create materials for your courses now and then copy them over to your courses. -
Should I set up my classes within Schoology, or does the district somehow do it, and then I'd have duplicates?
Your courses will auto-populate from eSchool at the end of July. Students are not able to see them until the first day of school. -
How do you set up the Access Codes for the students to get into your classes?
Classes will be created and populated with all of your students at the end of July. -
Is AHS going to be ready to incorporate it's grade book and attendance into Schoology by August 11th?
Yes.
-
Do I have to use Schoology in 2020-2021?

How do I take Schoology 101?
This ecourse will be available in Eduphoria on July 20. Schoology 1.0 (Part 1) is a self-paced ecourse and is a prerequisite for Schoology 2.0 virtual live training. Schoology 1.0 will provide time to explore Schoology. During this session, you will have the opportunity to create a practice course and start navigating by adding materials in preparation for Schoology 2.0. After registering for the session in Eduphoria, participants will need to follow the instructions found in this document to complete the course.

Do we have a quick reference?
Why yes! Indeed, we do have a start of the year quick reference.

How will it help in a traditional face to face classroom?
This LMS will help organize both online learning and the traditional classroom. You can assign homework, discussions, quizzes and exams. Schoology works with most of the textbook publisher's testing databases and online textbooks. It is a great space to organize all of your content and can roll over each year.
