    Classroom Policies 

    Grading Policy: 

    Quarter Grades will be determined by 

    • Summative (60%):  Exams or Projects

    • Formative (40%): Discussions, Assignments, Kahoots, Gimkits, Participation in activities

    Submission of Work : Student work must be submitted to the class turn in box at the end of the period to receive full credit. If a student is absent, it is his/her responsibility to ask for the assignment upon return and will be permitted an additional day to complete and submit the assignment via schoology or to the teacher. 

    Attendance: Attendance will be checked within the first five minutes of class. AHS attendance policy will be fully enforced, refer to Eagle Policies for details. 

    Schoology: Will be utilized for organization of the class. I will post assignments that will need to be completed each day. The majority of assignments will be on paper, it will be your responsibility to ask for a copy upon your return if you are absent.
