    I hope everyone is doing well and ready to get back to an exciting school  year in Chemistry!   I am looking forward to the opportunity to get students passionate about Chemistry; I am excited to get to know my students and learn from each other!    Please let me know if you need anything or if you have any questions that arise during the year.  I will always be keeping the lines of communication open as we all have to work together!  Let me know if you have any questions, comments, or concerns!

    Communication:

    I plan on communicating with students regularly through Schoology but have found that Remind, in the past, has been a very effective tool for quick communication.  I encourage students to text me through Remind if they are having issues with practice problems as this is the quickest way to get a response from me.  Please make sure that you are signed up for Remind so you can keep up-to-date with me.  

     

    • Advanced Chem (1st and 3rd periods) join by texting @khsadvchem to 81010.

    • AP Chem (4th, 5th, 6th and 7th periods) join by texting @welchap to 81010.

     

    Materials and Assignments

    Assignments and materials will be made available through Schoology.  Students should access Schoology through MyHumble.  Weeks at a Glance will be posted by 7 am Monday mornings.  These will show students exactly what needs to be completed throughout the week.

     Let me know if they have any questions.  Contacting me through email or Schoology are the best ways to get a hold of me!  I will respond ASAP but definitely within 24 hours. Additional course information and class resources are located in Schoology.

    • Lunch - A block Mondays and Fridays
    • Before School - Usually available, just check with me beforehand!  
    • After School - Mondays and Thursdays 2:55-3:30
