What does a virtual book fair look like?

Students will visit the virtual book fair at the link above and make a wishlist.  Please feel free to publicize the site because Deerwood library receives a percentage of the profits.  You may shop at home, and the books will be sent directly to your address.  To purchase for the teacher, you may purchase an eWallet in the teacher's name. Family members and friends may want to purchase an eWallet for students to shop.

    eWallet -- Important updated information

eWallet funds are no longer returned to a credit card. After the Book Fair, the balance will be available to spend at The Scholastic Store Online. For further help, contact customer service at:  scholasticstore@scholastic.com or 1-800-770-4662.

Why should I shop book fair?

Book fair is used to purchase new materials to keep our DWE library collection update.  It is our main source of funding, so your support is really appreciated.  We use it to update our nonfiction texts so they remain current and as correct as possible.  We also fund our non-fiction section with diverse texts and current releases.   In addition to supporting the literacy environment at Deerwood, having and reading books produces better readers and increases overall academic achievement.  Plus, books are a great way to unplug and relax.

How to get library books remotely:
