    Hello students and families! Welcome to second grade! My name is Mrs. Whitaker and I will be your Math and Science teacher! I'm looking forward to getting to know your child, however here is more to know about me. I am from Houston, TX and attended LeTourneau University. This is my 15th year  teaching. Besides teaching, I enjoy traveling, decorating and spending time with my family. I am a wife and mother of two sons. I also have twin grandsons ages 10 years old. This school year will be filled with lots of learning and new adventures!
