• Hello! My name is Daniel Rivas and this year I am teaching 7th grade Texas History and 8th grade U.S. History.  I am originally from San Antonio but I have lived all over the U.S. with the most recent place being in Iowa.  I was in the U.S. Coast Guard for 11 years and am a retired disabled Veteran.  When I am not in the classroom, you will find me spending time with my wife and 5 children, or wood and metal working in my garage.  I look forward to teaching your child in the areas of Texas and U.S. History and helping them expand and increase their knowledge for the subject and hopefully helping them to enjoy it as much as I do.
