I'm excited to serve in my 16th year in education and first as an Instructional Coach at RCE. Throughout my career, I've served as a classroom teacher for 14 years in Kinder, grades 2-4, and one year as an Interventionist before becoming an Instructional Coach. I graduated from Lamar University with a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and am currently pursuing my Master's of Education in Administration. I have had a great variety of teaching and learning experiences,  which include working with teachers and students, and teaching in both public and private schools, and nationally and internationally. 

My super supportive life partner and best friend is a 7th grade Science teacher and Athletic Coach at ARMS Middle School. Together we have two amazingly curious and energetic little boys. We spend our free time experiencing life through their lenses. We play sports, explore our surroundings, visit museums, are Super Heroes, solve problems, and read many books.

Each of the little people I've taught and encountered throughout my career has influenced the parent I've become. Every one of my educational experiences has helped me become a well-rounded and insightful lifelong learner and educator.
