Dance I/II/III - Grades 6-8

Welcome to WLMS Dance! My name is Ms. Burnett and I’m so excited to be teaching dance this year! I will be going into my first full year of teaching dance here at WLMS and being the Assistant Director for the Luminaires Dance Team. I am a mother of one to a loving little boy. His name is Zion and he will be 2 in February. I received my B.S in Secondary Teaching of Dance and minor in General Business from Stephen F. Austin State University. Go Jacks! Dance is my passion, I have danced for 15+ years. I began when I was a little girl to middle school on the cheer team for 2yrs, high school drill team for 3yrs (which was a great experience) and I was the captain of my drill team for 2yrs. During my time at SFASU I was also part of the Repertory Dance Company. This school year is going to be an explosion of learning both for the students and myself! I cannot wait to get to know my students!
