My name is JaTerria Brooks and I am excited about this upcoming school year and being a part of the Wolf pack here at West Lake Middle School. I am originally from Los Angeles, CA, moving to Houston in 2005, where I graduated from the great Texas Southern University, majoring in Communication and Journalism. This will be my 4th year teaching Language Arts ( 1st year at WLMS) and my goal for each student is to develop and help cultivate their passion for English, in both Reading and Writing! Looking forward to a great school year!!!!
