Hello Wildcats,

My name is Aimee Shirey and I am one of the Physical Education teachers here at Lakeland. I graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor's in Exercise Sports Science. 

I am very excited about working with our Wildcats this year on sportsmanship and their team-building skills!  This includes social skills, gross motor skills, and fine motor skills all through play!

Outside of regular class, I will be hosting the Marathon Kids Club after school. This club includes both running and a variety of games that work on team building and cardiovascular endurance. This club is for third through fifth. Our team will also be hosting a variety of events this year. We will have walk-a-thons, Fun Runs, and Super Kids Day!

I am very excited about teaching our Wildcats!
