Hello! My name is Ashli Marez and this is my 4th year at Whispering Pines Elementary. For the last 3 years, I have been a PreK paraeducator while I went back to school to become a certified teacher. I graduated from the University of Houston-Downtown and continued my studies through an Alternative Certification Program in order to become a part of the teaching staff here at WPE. I am a proud mother to my biological and bonus children and am happily married to my college sweetheart. Together and as a family, we love to go on adventures and travel and love to try new places to eat. I enjoy a great Starbucks drink and a fun trip to Target and tend to spend way too much money on the classroom in an effort to create an amazing learning opportunity for your little ones. I truly believe PreK is the stepping stone for a lifetime of learning and endeavor to provide a learning experience that creates lifetime learners. Together with my amazing paraeducator, Ms. McDaniel, I hope to show our students that only the best start their educational journey at WPE!
