• Mrs. Katherine Dalton - 4th Grade English Language Arts and Social Studies 

     

    Dear Parents and Students:

    I am Katherine Dalton. I am excited to join Whispering Pines Elementary as a 4th grade RELA teacher this school year (2022/2023).  I have been an educator for the past 8 years.  I have worked as a teacher in both 3rd and 4th grade.  I am certified to teach EC-6, ESL and Gifted and Talented students.

    Before I moved into teaching as my second career, I worked in retail marketing for various businesses here in Houston.  I was originally born in California and raised there until I was 10 years old and then my family moved to East Texas. I have been a Texan ever since!  I moved to Houston when I was 21 to complete my education and I graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Houston.

    I am blessed to be married and I have 3 amazing children. Two of our kids are grown and the last one is beginning her junior year at K-Park in Kingwood.

    I began my teaching career as a para-educator with Humble ISD and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to rejoin Humble ISD and the Whispering Pines Elementary team.  I love working with children and helping them grow academically, socially and emotionally.  I look forward to a fantastic school year working with my new Panda team and I especially look forward to meeting my new students and their parents.
