6-8th grade Life Skills/Medically Fragile Teacher

 

Bio:
Hello and welcome to West Lake! I am Mrs. Reed. This is my second year teaching at West Lake Middle School and I would love to welcome you to the pack! I am an Humble native, Humble High School graduate. After High School I started a family and then graduated  Western Governer's University with a degree in Special Education Instruction K-12. My hobbies include being a mom to 3 fantastic kids, game nights, camping, scouts and activities with my children.

 

My goals for this year center around ensuring each and every student is challenged to achieve at their highest level. We will use the Unique Learning System for Math, Reading, Science, Social Studies and Functional Skills.  We'll stay relevant with current events through News 2 You.  We'll explore gardening and cooking, and so much more.  Each student will find a safe environment to try new things, and master new skills.  They'll be encouraged to explore, question, think critically and create solutions.  All students are encouraged to think more, do more, be more.
