  • Hello! My name is Lori Hale and I am excited about beginning my second year at JFE. This is my 16th year teaching  in Humble ISD! I taught kindergarten for 8 years, 5 years, teaching first grade and 3 years of Intervention. The children and I will spend a some time getting to know each other during the first days of school, but I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you.

I received my bachelor’s degree from Stephen F. Austin State University. I have 22 years of teaching experience, at Pre-school, Kindergarten and First Grade levels.

My husband Terry and I have been married for 27 years, and we are the parents of two beautiful daughters, Savannah (A graduate from Stephen F. Austin Nursing Program), and Peyton (A graphic design/computer science graduate from University of North Texas). We have also been  blessed with a beautiful granddaughter.

When I’m not at school, I devote my time to enjoying my family and friends. I also enjoy painting, traveling and watching HGTV.

I am a firm believer in the partnership of school and home. A child is a precious gift. No one knows or loves your child the way that you do. It is crucial that we communicate and cooperate for the benefit of the child. Please feel free to ask questions, and to let me know if you have a concern. I will do the same. It will be exciting to watch the children grow as we work together.

Thank you for entrusting your child to me. I am looking forward to a great year!
