Eighth graders and their parents are invited to obtain real-life advice from a panel of high school students through a special event hosted by the Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council. High School Hacks will be held on Monday, April 18 at Atascocita High School. Activities will begin at 6 p.m. with a panel of high school students starting at 6:45 p.m.

Students from each high school in Humble ISD will address questions that students commonly have as they transition from middle school to high school. Eighth graders and their parents can listen to the panel presentation and will be able to ask additional questions to panelists at the end of the presentation.

High School Hacks is hosted as a service to incoming freshmen by the Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council. The Student Advisory Council meets throughout the year and is composed of Humble ISD students in grades 9-12 who were chosen as Students of Character at the end of their eighth grade year. The Council provides a forum for Superintendent Dr. Elizabeth Fagen to receive input and feedback from students on their school experiences and to address topics of student interest.
