F: 281-641-6843Daniel Scalia (Mr. S) is starting his 11th year as an athletic trainer, his 10th year at KPHS. Mr. S was born and raised in a little town out side of Monroe, Louisiana. He completed his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology- Exercise Science at The University of Louisiana at Monroe. While at ULM he was a student athletic trainer working with almost all sports but mainly Football, women’s tennis, women’s soccer, and softball. After graduation he moved to Riverside, California to obtain his Masters Degree in Athletic Training from California Baptist University. While at CBU he worked with Women’s soccer, Nationally ranked Men’s Volleyball, (Men’s basketball style Riverside Community College), as well as Corona High School football and wrestling. Upon completion of his education he moved to Texas and begin working in the profession he loves. He worked one year at Humble High School as the assistant athletic trainer before coming to Kpark in 2011.
He loves being a part of the KPark Family and the head athletic trainer. He loves being able to support all of our athletes as they compete to be the best they can. When he is not working at KPHS he is usually at home with his family (wife Sasha, daughter Payton, son Colt, and Daughter Sawyer(due Nov. 21), working on a few projects around our new house, or building things.
