Jennifer Sisco

I am so excited to be joining the second grade team this year!

I grew up in Katy and have lived in Kingwood for about 16 years. I have three kids: a freshman, sixth grader and second grader. I graduated from The University of Texas at Austinin 1996 with a degree in Applied Learning and Development Education) specializing in English with a Reading Endorsement. I completed my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Sam Houston State University right after my oldest daughter was born in 2006. 

I taught for 14 years before taking a break to spend time with my young children. During that time I worked with supporting new mommies and babies, taught preschool, and worked with students with Autism. My three kids are all Greentree Gators and I enjoyed volunteering for Junior Achievement, Art Masterpiece and PTA before entering the classroom as a third grade RELA teacher last year. 

I love reading and learning. I look forward to encouraging your children to grow in a safe place where they can work hard, be creative and enjoy learning. It is going to be a unique but fantastic year!
