I am so excited about meeting your child! We will have a lot of fun this year! Teaching is my lifelong passion. I love seeing students learn new things and grow as learners in my classroom. In the past, I have taught kindergarten through third grade. This year, I am thrilled about the opportunity to teach first grade. It's my favorite grade to teach!   I am a lifelong learner myself and enjoy learning things from my students as well. My passion for reading instruction led me to pursue my Master's degree in reading and to get my reading specialist certificate. I have a wonderful family, and I am married to my best friend.  I have two incredible children (a kindergartner and a third-grader at EGE). I also have a giant dog, a Pyrenees/collie mix, weighing over 100 lbs. I love reading, running, the beach, and drinking coffee. We are going to have a great year!
