I'm Coach Coovert and I'll be teaching AP and Dual Credit U.S. History along with Government and Economics Virtually. I'll also be coaching Freshman Football and Wrestling.

Bachelor of History from Texas A&M University

Masters of Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University

Masters of History from Sam Houston State University

Career:

Entering my 8th year of teaching and 5th year of coaching.

This will be my second year at The Park. 

I previously taught the following classes: World Geography; World Geography Pre-AP; AP Human Geography; World History; U.S. History, AP U.S. History and Dual Credit U.S. History. 

I've also coached Football, Basketball as well as Track.

Family:

My family is growing, I'm currently married and I have a 85 pound Anatolian/Pyrenes Mix dog named Spencer.
