I was raised in Torrance, CA - a beach city suburb of Los Angeles County. To me, Torrance is very much like Humble. I see many of the core community values that I grew up with reflected in the Humble community. I moved to Texas in 2009 and graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2011 - Eat 'em up, Kats! My husband and I have two children, Caleb and Abigail. In November of 2021, we welcomed the newest member of our family into our home, our Black Lab, Romeo. We moved into the community in early 2020. I love being part of the Humble family and community!

I am one of the Reading Strategies teachers here at West Lake. I love teaching Reading Strategies because I love seeing my students grasp concepts that were once challenging to them!
