Welcome! I am LaStacie Johnson, this is lucky year number 7 in education!
I bring six years of education experience: two years as a high school mathematics resource and inclusion teacher, three years as an elementary structured learning classroom lead teacher for third through fifth-grade students with autism and intellectual disabilities, and one year as a special education counselor working specifically with developing Functional Behavior Assessments, Counseling and Social Skills evaluation, Behavior Intervention Plans, and provided relative services such as Social Skills and Counseling. In addition, I served in the United States Military as an Intelligence Analyst and Logistics Specialist for nine years. These experiences have instilled the importance of effective, clear and concise communication orally and in written form. All of my career experiences have taught me the importance of collaborating with multiple stakeholders and setting aside my passion for reasonable expectations.
