Humble ISD Superintendent, Dr. Elizabeth Fagen, shared during the 2019-20 Convocation ceremony, her dream of Humble ISD partnering with Google to provide a computer science program infused throughout all content areas for all students Kindergarten through 12th grade. What once was a dream, is now a reality. On  Wednesday, January 22, 2020, over one hundred representatives of Humble ISD campuses assembled at James Eggers Instructional Support Center for the momentous launch of the Google and Beyond Action Team.

The Department of Teaching and Learning has worked fearlessly to identify topics necessary to provide a comprehensive and immersive computer science program for all students, Kindergarten through 12th grade. They have researched the topics in depth and formulated a list of Implementation Elements. The Google and Beyond Action Team will now join forces with Teaching and Learning to finalize an implementation plan and carry out the mission of providing a comprehensive and content-immersive  computer science program for all students K - 12th grade.
