Let's have a great 2022-2023 school year!
It is a pleasure to be your Science teacher while we navigate through this school year. This is my eighth year of teaching and fourth year at Sterling MS. I am a graduate of Sam Houston State University. I began my teaching career in Houston ISD teaching 7th grade Science after working as a Lab Technician in the Houston Medical Center. I have also coached 7th grade girl's volleyball and basketball. My goal as your teacher is to teach you how to think like a scientist and to help you grow into a successful young adult who is a critical thinker. I hope students can make connections between what they learn in class to their world experiences for the rest of their lives.
I am married to my husband of 8 years. Outside of teaching, I love to spend time with my family every chance I get, traveling, crafting, decorating for events and working out.
