6th Grade Pre-Ap World Cultures- Room B110
8th Grade Introduction to Culinary Arts- Room C100
Welcome to the 2020-21 school year at WLMS! I am looking forward to having your child in my class! This is my second year teaching at WLMS. This year I am teaching both 6th Grade World Cultures and 8th Grade Introduction to Culinary Arts. Teaching these subjects together gives me the opportunity to infuse many of my passions- traveling, learning about cultures around the world, customer service, cooking, baking, and much more!
I received my bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University. Teaching is my dream job, and my passion is teaching children to be life-long learners. I am committed to providing your child with a nurturing and challenging educational experience that will ensure his/her academic success.
I like to spend my time away from school with my family and my three kids. My husband, Jarrod, is my greatest supporter and my best friend. Graham is seven and will be in 2nd grade at Atascocita Springs Elementary. Max is four and is a true dinosaur and Pokemon lover. Savannah is two, loves her baby dolls, but is just as tough as her two older brothers.
I am huge on communication so please look for more class information. Please contact me if you have any questions, concerns, or need anything at all. I would like to thank you in advance for your support for this upcoming school year. Together we will make our mark!!!
