ABOUT MRS. TERRY
I am thrilled to be returning to Bear Branch Elementary for my 16th year. I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in English and a minor in psychology. I worked as a paralegal for 3 years before starting a family and going through the alternative certification program to follow my true passion. I have been in education for 24 years as a bilingual classroom teacher, a Spanish teacher, (specials in rotation) a Spanish Immersion teacher, a kindergarten general ed teacher, and currently a dyslexia specialist and reading interventionist. I've lived in the Kingwood area for 23 years and will celebrate my 33rd wedding anniversary this month. All three of our sons, Logan 29, Conner 26, and Parker 22, are products of Humble ISD schools, and we hope our new grandson will benefit from the same invaluable education. I love animals! We are proud pet parents to a spoiled and sassy Chihuahua named Clover Marie, a sweet but sometimes annoying Ratchi named Daisy Grace, and a loving "tuxedo cat" named Nyla Jane. In my spare time I enjoy shopping, decorating, reading, exercising, and spending time with friends and family. I'm looking forward to an awesome year working with children to build confidence and foster a life-long love of reading.
Welcome school year 2022-23!!!
