    Hello Families,

    Welcome to 5th grade, my name is Genesis Johnson and this my 18th year teaching and I will be your child’s RELA/Social Studies teacher. I began my teaching career in Miami, Florida where I was born and raised. I taught in Florida for 15 years before moving here to Texas 2 years ago. I graduated from Bethune-Cookman University with a BS in Elementary Education and later went to Nova Southeastern University and received my Master’s in Early Childhood Education and my Education Specialist in Early Literacy and Reading. I enjoy and love what I do and I’m excited for the school year. Below are a few ways that you can contact me. My conference times are 10:00-10:50 M,T,TH, F except for Wednesday’s at 2-4.
