Ortner, Drew

Good Day!

I am Mr. Ortner and it is an absolute pleasure to welcome you to my class website.  I am so excited to meet each and every one of you and I am thrilled to be here at Atascocita Springs! 

Professional

I have been teaching for 9 years, all of which in 3rd grade math/science.  My last three years at ASE have been amazing!  My previous 5 years were in Spring ISD while my first year was in the small town of Crockett, Texas.  I received my Bachelor's Degree in Education from Sam Houston State University. 

Personal

My amazing wife and I were married in June of 2012.  While we have no children yet, we have 3 crazy chihuahuas - Riley, Tipper and Trixie - who keep us on our toes.  They are all sisters that were born to the same litter.  We didn't have the heart to split them up so we kept them all!  I am a huge sports fan (Go Texans!!!!) and enjoy spending time with my family.
