    Welcome to 3rd GRADE!!!  My name is Casey S. Archield and  I am so excited to be your child’s 3rd grade Math & Science teacher at Atascocita Springs Elementary! This will be my 8th year teaching and 4th year at ASE. I obtained my undergraduate degree in Sociology at the University of Houston Downtown and a Masters in Counseling at Praire View A&M. I've always wanted to have a career in education to uplift students, encourage them and help them realize that they can reach their full potential. The class motto is "Be Positive on Purpose". I believe it is so easy to be negative in a situation and you have to really think and CHOOSE to be positive when something challenging comes yours way. This is what I like to model and teach my students. I'm so glad to be a part of your child's learning journey this year! Can't wait to meet you!
