• Ms. Kaleigh Sutula 

    Assistant Choir Director, 9-12


    Ms. Sutula is entering her first year as the Assistant Choir Director at KPHS. She is thrilled to return to the Houston area after earning degrees at ACU and the Eastman School of Music. While a student in the Houston public schools herself, Ms. Sutula performed with the Clear Creek Symphonic Chorale at the 2009 ACDA Conference, and was an All-State Choir member for three consecutive years. 

    After earning a dual degree in Music Education and Vocal Performance at Abilene Christian University, Ms. Sutula taught in Abilene ISD at the high school level before pursuing a degree in Vocal Performance at the Eastman School of Music. While pursuing her graduate degree, Ms. Sutula sang in various capacities with Buffalo Opera Unlimited, Eastman Opera Theatre, East Avenue Chorale, the Eastman-Rochester Chorus and Hobart and William Smith Colleges. Ms. Sutula also served as an adjunct voice faculty member at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in the Spring of 2018.

    As a soloist, Ms. Sutula has performed in operas, oratorios, and other major works in Texas, Germany, Italy and across Upstate New York. Most recently, Ms. Sutula performed as a Bonfils-Stanton Studio Artist with Central City Opera in their 2018 summer festival.
