"Dust yourself off. Greatness awaits!" ~ Unknown!
My name is Amanda Price. I am the Dyslexia Specialist at TE. This is my seventeenth year in education. I was born and raised in Livingston, Texas and moved to the Humble area in 2017! I have been married for 14 years to my best friend, who is also a Texas native. We have 8 children, 7 grandchildren, and 3 poodles.
I graduated from college at SFA with a Bachelor's of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and Lamar University with a Masters of Education in Educational Technology Leadership. I am currently pursuing a M.Ed in School Counseling through Lamar University.
My favorite thing to do is spend time with my family, read my bible, and relax at the beach with my poodles! I enjoy every part of my job and can't wait to learn more about YOU!

In May 2021, I was awarded funds from The Humble ISD Education Foundation grant that awarded us our very own comfort dog.
Dottie attended a very comprehensive training to become an AKC Certified Comfort Dog through the amazing Let's Go! Positive Reinforcement Dog Training, LLC. This is Dotties' 2nd year at TE.
While she is on campus, Dottie will have a specific role to play. She will be under my care only. Dottie is an extremely sweet dog who shows zero aggression towards others. The students will have special opportunities to read to her and other positive interactions.
