My name is Ginny Murray and I am honored and excited to be a part of the WPE. I was born and reaised in Louisiana and always cheer on my Alma Mater, the LSU Tigers. My journey as a teacher began in 2006 upon graduating from Louisiana State University with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I taught 5th grade for 10 years at University Elementary in Shreveport, Louisiana. After marrying my husband, Brian, we moved to Houston, Texas where I taught in Klein ISD at McDougle Elementary for 2 years. During these two years, I obtained my ESL (English as a Second Language) Certification and Texas Educator Certificate (ECE-6th Grade). In the summer of 2016 we moved to San Diego where I obtained my Multiple Subject Teaching California Credential, began persuing my Master's Degree and became a preschool teacher for a little over a year. My husband Brian is a Senior Chief Petty Officer in the Navy who has served almost 18 years and will retiree here in Houston in 2 years. During our short time in beautiful San Diego, he served as the Naval Special Warfare Program's Outreach Coordinator for the Western Half of the United States. Brian and I have 5 daughters: Rilee, Morgan, Braelyn, Aubree and Brooklynn. Rilee is a Junior at Klein High School, Morgan is a freshman at Klein High School, Braelyn attends Terre Town Elementary in Indiana, Aubree is a 4th grader at Brill Elementary in Klein ISD and Brooklynn, our 3 year old, attends The Children's Courtyard in Champion Forest (Spring, Tx) where we live. Our girls and my husband love being part of their soccer, tennis and swim teams. In my free time, I love to run/workout and spend time with my beautiful family!!!
