About the teacher:

This will be my sixteenth year teaching. I enjoy seeing the "aha!" moments students have in class.

When I'm not in the classroom, I am playing soccer, kickboxing, and chasing after my 10-year-old daughter Presley. I graduated from Humble High School in 2003, then attended Baylor University on a cross-country/track and field scholarship. While at Baylor, I worked as a writer with The Lariat and the Waco Tribune Herald. I graduated from University of St. Thomas with a Master of Education degree in 2011. If I was not a teacher, I would love to attend culinary school and become a master chef.
