I'm very excited to start my fifth year teaching and coaching at Summer Creek High School. Prior to teaching at Summer Creek, I was a geometry teacher at Kingwood High School and Crosby High School. When I had my first child, I decided to be a stay at home mom. During that time, I raced as an elite level triathlete and competed at the world championships. After several years of intense training and competing, I decided to retire from triathlons and go back to teaching full time.
I am married to my husband, Josh, of 21 years and we have 2 wonderful children, Luke (17 years) and Lizzy (15 years). We spend most of our spare time at the swimming pool. My husband and I met at Louisiana State University where we both swam and graduated. Now both of our children swim competitively. We also have 2 dogs who are a major part of our family, Duke (a mutt we found on the side of the road) and Jax (a 4 year old black lab who is into everything!)
I look forward to a fantastic year with these kids!
