Welcome to English I and Debate!

My name is Ali Theriot, and this will be my tenth year teaching. I am originally from Louisiana where I attended Louisiana State University and earned a bachelor's degree in English Education. After graduating, I taught 7th grade ELA for a year, 8th grade ELA for two years, and English I. In 2017, I decided to make a change and moved to Kingwood. It has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. I love being a part of the KPark family and being able to call this place home. I taught English II for two years before moving to English I. I am also the KPHS debate coach and UIL Academic Team sponsor. I'm glad to be back and am planning on having another amazing year.
