Please complete the COVID-19 Student Self-Reporting Form if your child has received a confirmed positive test for COVID-19. The district is required to share positive case information with the Health Department.

TEA requires that students with COVID remain away from school until re-entry criteria has been met. TEA states the following conditions for re-entry:

• If the child tested positive for COVID and experienced symptoms: “at least 5 days have passed since symptom onset, and fever free, and other symptoms have improved.”
  
  
• If the child tested positive for COVID-19 but did not experience symptoms: the child “must stay home until at least 5 days after the day they were tested.” 
  
  

Parents should also follow the normal procedures for reporting a student's absence to the campus.
