    Dedication 

    A Dedication Ceremony was held for the new campus on Sunday, August 28, 1965.

    The ceremony started with a concert by the high school band at 2:30 PM.  It was followed by a speech by Dr. J. W. Edgar, Texas Commissioner of Education at 3:00 PM.

    After Dr. Edgar's speech, refreshments were served followed by an tour of the building.1

    Dedication Ceremony Community members visit the new campus during the dedication ceremony.

    600 people attended the event.2
