This year in 4th grade we will examine the history of Texas from the early beginnings to the present.

The students will conduct a thorough study of the regions of Texas and North America; identify the contributions of people of various racial, ethnic, and religious groups to Texas. Students will use critical thinking skills to identify cause and effect relationships, compare and contrast, make generalizations and predictions, and describe the impact of science and technology in the state.
