    Construction

    The School Board approved design development documents of Elementary #20 as prepared by Joiner Partnership, Inc. in January 2002.

    In June 2003, the name for Elementary #20 was approved as Summerwood Elementary School.

    The School Board approved the bid for Miscellaneous Furniture to various vendors: Kay & Davis Assoc., Ergonomic Solutions, School Specialty, Indesco Sales Company and J. R. Inc for a total expenditure of $196,853.24 in April 2004.

    In June 2004, the contract for Audio-Visual equipment was awarded to Aves, Best Buy, Troxell, AVP and B & H.
