    Lynn Fields is a former journalist.  She is a founder of the Bay Area Women's Center and has been the co-chair of fundraising for The Door, a shelter for battered women and their children.

    Lynn Fields served on the Humble ISD School Board for 14 years.  She was appointed to fill the unexpired term of Bob B. Berry on March 29, 1994.  She was then elected on January 20, 1996 and served through May 10, 2008.   Lynn again served from December 14, 2010 through May 14, 2011 to fill the unexpired term of Dan Huberty.

    Her father-in-law, Jack M. Fields, Sr., served on the Humble iSD School Board from March 1967 through February 1989.

    Lynn Fields is a former Vice President  of The Key, an auxiliary organization for The Door; and a committee member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. She has been a member of Young Life - Humble committee, a member of the Lake Houston Shores Republican Women, and a board member of the North Harris Montgomery County Community College District Foundation.

    Ms. Fields is an honorary member of the Mu Pi Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma.
