Meet Mrs. Garrett

  • I was born and raised in Houston, TX and I am the oldest of FOUR! I have 2 younger sisters, Lindsey and Alissa, and 1 younger brother, Chase. I LOVE them! When I graduated from high school, I moved to Nacogdoches to attend Stephen F. Austin State University…GO LumberJacks!

     

    This will be my 15th year teaching and I absolutely love 1st grade. This will be my eighth year teaching 1st grade here at ASE! Prior to this, I taught kindergarten for 7 years, 6 of those years in Klein ISD and 1 year in Fort Bend ISD.

     

    I am married to a wonderful man, Charles! We have three of the most adorable, energetic kids ever! Our oldest son is Collin and he is 14 and in 9th grade. Brielle, our princess, is 12 and will be in 7th grade this year. Our youngest, Lorenzo, is 9 and will be in 4th grade this year. They are so much fun and they keep me on my toes at all times!!

     

    Last but not least, I absolutely love teaching! I am beyond excited about working with you and your child! This year is going to be filled with lots of learning, fun, and memories made that will be forever cherished! I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for us and I look forward to helping your child grow and flourish this year in 1st grade.
