My name is LaTonya Hudson, and I am the Math Interventionist teacher here at FCE. I graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2000 (GO BEARKATS!) and began my teaching career in 2001. I have taught 2nd,3rd, and 4th grade and was a substitute teacher in grades K-12. I received my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership in 2005 from Prairie View A&M University. I have spent the majority of my teaching career in Aldine and this will be my fifth year in Humble ISD (each year gets BETTER and BETTER)!!!
I have been married to my husband, Jerric, for 13 years and we have 4 handsome boys who keep us on our toes. Anthony and Bryce play competitive baseball on travelling teams. Benjamin is our Autistic Singer (he can hum or sing a song after hearing it a couple of times), and Blake is our last heartbeat (our 6 year old miracle baby). My family and I live here in Humble so we may bump into each other from time to time :)
I look forward to having a great year with you and your child. I hope to develop critical thinkers, math magicians, confidence to take risks, and an understanding of their contributions in our community/society.
RTI intervention will be an exciting year with many challenges. The students will be challenged but with hard work and practice, they will be successful.
