    Live Your Dreams
To become the "Best Large School District in Texas," we don't do it alone. We have community partners who help support us and our students. Memorial Hermann Hospital is a partner who is helping keep our students and community safe through their "Live your Dreams" program. This Inspiring Moments video gives a little insight into the program and how it affected some of our students.

2016-2017 District Teachers of the Year
Their names were announced at the fabulous Humble ISD Education Foundation's Totally 80's Gala. Now you have the opportunity to get to know the Humble ISD Elementary Teacher of the Year and the new Secondary and District Teacher of the Year.

    CTE Expo 2016
The Humble ISD CTE Expo was an added feature to the Humble ISD Livestock Show and Rodeo three years ago. It is designed to raise awareness among students, parents, and the community on the wide variety of career preparation classes available to Humble ISD students. It's become very popular and is now a part of our district culture!

    The Great 8
Humble ISD’s commitment to students is not limited to academics. Effective schools serve the whole child. With that in mind, Student Support Services and Counseling Staff authored a new social and emotional wellness curriculum. The curriculum is based on Paul Tough’s book, “How Children Succeed,” which provides research showing there really is no "secret to success."Successful people incorporate social and emotional skills into their lives and work. This new curriculum – which Humble ISD named The Great 8 – is being used by counselors and teachers to help students learn and grow.

    Board Appreciation
Humble ISD students celebrated School Board Recognition Month by singing and dancing! We appreciate our Board members for their service, commitment, dedication and support of public education. They are volunteers, elected by voters, who serve because they care about the current and future lives of children. The video was produced by Kingwood High School Advanced Audio Video Production students.

    Education Foundation
Humble ISD recently held a special Prize Posse Day to award $100,000 to teachers across the district. The event was made possible by the H-E-B Excellence in Education Awards, through which Humble ISD was named the 2015 Best Large District in Texas.
