Frequently Asked Questions
What is the "Cougars for Life" Annual Fund Campaign and why this year?
The annual fund campaign is a joint effort between the Humble ISD Education Foundation and Kingwood Middle School to raise funds that will directly support our academic vision for KMS. Instead of the traditional sales-based fundraising events of the past, KMS is asking for your support through the school's Annual Fund Campaign. This style of fundraising is the direction that several other schools in our district are now using to raise the needed funds for their respective campuses. Your gift to this type of campaign makes the greatest financial impact on our campus. We are excited about the project defined in this campaign and sincerely appreciate your support of this fundraising model.
Why is my gift directed to the Humble ISD Education Foundation?
The Humble ISD Education Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization and manages the collection and reporting of funds. Donations received through the Foundation may be tax-deductible and allow for maximum matching gift potential, as many companies will only match to a 501(c)3 organization. 100% of the contributions designated to this campaign will benefit Kingwood Middle School.
