Hello ASE parents!  I'm so happy to be here at this wonderful school for my 4th year!  This is actually my 31st year in education. I spent 13 years teaching grades 2-5 in Aldine and Greentree Elementary in Humble ISD.  I decided I wanted to become a counselor so I went back to school and have been a school counselor for 9 years at Hidden Hollow Elementary and 3 years at Humble High School, both which are in Humble ISD. I graduated from Stephen F. Austin with a Bachelors degree in Education and earned a Master of Education degree at SFA also. I studied at Sam Houston to earn my Master of Arts in Counseling. I have experience in small groups, individual counseling, guidance lessons and collaborating with teachers and parents. If there is anything I can do to help your child socially and emotionally, please don't hesitate to email or give me a call.

This is my 4th year at ASE and I have had the chance to move up with my students each year, so the 5th graders this year have known me since 1st grade!  I cannot imagine being anywhere else because the staff, students and parents are the best here at ASE!  I am looking forward to a super year working with all of the students at Atascocita Springs Elementary.

Not only do I have counseling experience, I also have quite a bit of parenting experience. I am a parent of two kids of my own. Ryley is my oldest and he is 25 and Lexie is my 22 years old.  They both went through Humble ISD schools and graduated from Kingwood Park High School.  They are both going to college now and working and choosing their careers. My son got married over a year ago so we have a new addition to our family, Francine. I do love to take care of dogs, cook, decorate and repaint old furniture.  A few of years ago I am trained my dog Holley and Lizzie to become a comfort dogs so I can bring them to school to help out with counseling.   If there's anything I can do to help you and your student, please don't hesitate to call me at 281-641-3618.
