Fourth grade is a year of new discovery and personal growth. Your child will be given the opportunity through team teaching to become more responsible, independent learners, as well as leaders. Together, we will accomplish great success!

I would like to take this time as an opportunity to introduce myself. I am a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma and went to the University of Oklahoma for 3 years.  BOOMER~SOONER!!   I am married to Chance Castleberry and we have been married for 18 awesome years!  We have a 12 year old son, Carson, and a daughter, Brynn, who is 6.  This will be my 20th year of teaching and I have taught in both Oklahoma, and Texas.  I couldn’t be more thrilled to call Shadow Forest Elementary my home!  I am extremely thrilled and very fortunate to be among such a professional, supportive, and caring faculty at Shadow Forest Elementary and, with the help of our staff, I am committed to instilling excellence within our students.

I understand that teaching your child is a privilege, and I am dedicated to providing a learning environment that is centered around respect, motivating one another, and ultimately, achieving our educational goals. Understanding the importance of responsibility and ownership will be the key to success in fourth grade. I truly believe that learning should be enjoyable and embraced.

I feel that communication is the foundation and is vital to the success in our classroom. Please feel free to e-mail or call me with any questions, concerns, or comments you may have. I look forward to working with you and your child, and I know we will have a successful year!  Please look on my website for contact information, conference times, and many educational websites to help with skills for students.
