    Horizons
In 2012, Humble Middle School launched an innovative program inviting African-American male students from HMS to a day-long symposium. Students hear from speakers on using education as a means to lasting success. Horizons has become an annual event for HMS due to the impact it has made.

    AeroScience Engineering
Humble ISD is home to an acclaimed program called AeroScience Engineering, operating out of Kingwood and Kingwood Park High schools. Students really get to test their smarts by building rockets and launching them. As if that weren't impressive enough, "Rocketeers" also get to meet with experts from NASA who help them perfect their rockets as they work up to their big launch this spring!

    Watch D.O.G.S.
Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Good Students) is a national program that exists to involve fathers or father figures in volunteer work at their children's school. Livestock Show
The Humble Rodeo and Livestock Show are longtime, local traditions which support our Foundation and in turn support our students! Part of that tradition is our FFA program at each of the high schools, and seeing our students participate in this youth leadership opportunity.

    School Board Appreciation
January is School Board Appreciation Month! Who are our Board Members, and just what do they do? To answer these questions, and to show our thanks, we sought out some expert opinions.

    Kindergarten
Kindergarten students are exposed to the basics of learning and social development from the first day they enter the classroom. By the end of the year, students have gone from learning ABC's and 123's to reading, writing and mathematics.

Humble ISD really knows how to bring school pride and spirit to our games, which encompasses our athletes, our cheerleaders, our bands and so many other student groups and organizations that define the term Football Frenzy. JASON Learning Argonauts
Two of our very own were selected as JASON Learning Argonauts, joining a group of just 11 Argonauts nationwide to participate in a weeklong research trip at Camp Eleuthera off the coast of The Bahamas.
