Dr. Richard Rodriguez
At left, Dr. Rodriguez is pictured with Thomas Allison, a 2016 graduate of KHS. Dr. Rodriguez has been a Texas educator since 1993. This is his 12th year at KHS, where he has taught Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Statistical Reasoning, Boys' Basketball and Track. This year, in addition to Statistical Reasoning, he will serve as an instructor of AP Statistics.
In 2014, he successfully defended his doctoral dissertation and earned a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies from Our Lady of the Lake University. Dr. Rodriguez' dissertation examined the relationship between leadership style and job satisfaction. Dr. Rodriguez' is also the first co-author of a peer-reviewed article involving the concept of servant leadership. In addition, he has served as an Adjunct Professor in the areas of Human Development and Developmental Mathematics at Lone Star College since 2011. He and his family have resided in Kingwood since 2007.
