Dr. Richard Rodriguez

Richard Rodriguez has been a Texas educator since 1993. This will be his 14th year at KHS, where he has taught Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Dual-Credit Statistics, AP Statistics, Boys' Basketball and Track.

In 2014, he successfully defended his doctoral dissertation and earned a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies from Our Lady of the Lake University. Dr. Rodriguez' dissertation examined the relationship between leadership style and job satisfaction. In July 2017, his work was published as the feature article in the Journal of Leadership Studies (Volume 11, Issue 1) and can be accessed via the following link: Authentic leadership and transformational leadership: An incremental approach

Dr. Rodriguez' is also the first co-author of a peer-reviewed article involving the concept of servant leadership. In addition, he has served as an Adjunct Professor in the areas of Human Development and Developmental Mathematics at Lone Star College. He and his family have resided in Kingwood since 2007.
